James E. Carroll, III, is the President and CEO of PeaceKeeping Helping Hands, Inc. With a professional background in law enforcement and military service, James began volunteering by working extensively in communities with faith-based and nonprofit organizations in Georgia starting in the early 1990s. His passion for volunteer service continued to grow as he actively began helping the homeless population in underserved communities of Atlanta. James and his wife decided to develop a nonprofit organization to do more and launched PeaceKeeping Helping Hands, Inc. in May 2022.
Since the beginning, James’s vision for the nonprofit has been to empower homeless individuals and families with temporary housing, food, and outreach services by collaborating with community partners that help nonprofit leaders make better decisions, reduce risk, and grow their organizations.
Over his 25+ years, James has served on the board of directors for numerous nonprofit organizations and provided professional consulting services as an instructor for Juvenile Justice diversion programs in the Atlanta metro area of Georgia.
